Good morning everyone.

Ok, OK, I know I said I would not make another one, but……..

…..technically I am not making one but…….

……..two!

That’s fifty ribbon pockets all at different stages, so it feels a bit like a production line.

But when finished I will have two more of these…..ooooh so that’s 75 prezzies just for me?!
Oooops, did I forget to tell you, I am not making them for anyone (sorry Janet, Mollie and Chester)…..just me.

Sock advent idea

Good morning and how is everyone this morning.

I have been teasing again, I put a pile of socks on Facebook on Monday – stating it was my next craft project.

Baby’s 1st Christmas Sock Advent Calendar.
I used our New and Exclusive Advent number ribbon here, baby’s 1st Christmas ribbon and small buttons.

You can buy the kit (without the socks) here at £2.50 it is a bargain.

The little socks I got from a high street store and a couple of free evenings sewing and it was completed.

We have also added two more NEW and EXCLUSIVE ranges to the website.

A stunning Classic Christmas in Black and White.
This was the range that I had to re-design because it looked “dirty”.
I am so glad I persevered with it, I took some of the detail out and changed the print method.

I still have several ranges to photograph, our Design Team girls are eager for me to get all the ranges launched, so they can share their new creations.
I am working as fast as I can!

Lots going on this week

We have had a very busy week launching several of our new Christmas ribbons.

Monday was the White Christmas range.

On Wednesday it was my crazy idea of advent number ribbon.

Today it is the turn of our Russian Dolls.

A line of Russian Dolls .

They are on a grunge effect background with matching narrow Russian Flowers.

Love Chocolate

Morning everyone.

I am like a cat on a hot tin roof today……………..I will explain after showing you this.

Way back in May I made both my brother in laws each a birthday cake.
This cake was was made for Marten, Rachies husband.

He is a chocolate freak……………….adores chocolate.
(most annoying thing, he is a slim as a rake!)

WOW! The fumes from this cake were awesome.
I inhaled with relish knowing I could not eat any of the cake – boo hoo.

Why am I on edge you ask………………………I even had Tony in the office at 7.30 this morning.

My FIRST Delivery of our EXCLUSIVE Christmas Ribbons today.

Eek I am so excited and nervous at the same time.

Every time I hear a lorry outside, I go running out………….
…….I do hope it comes soon, not sure my nerves can cope with an afternoon delivery.

Ladybird dots

Hello everyone, 

We are launching another NEW ribbon today.

We have been asked for this ribbon for ages, to make ladybirds.
The manufacture does not carry it as a stock colour, so we had it printed just for you  hair clip makers.
Red grosgrain ribbon with black Swiss dots.
We now have oodles and oodles of the ribbon, you can find it here

I told Miss Mollie that I was making Ladybirds and I needed someone to photograph them with.
I gather she drove Rachie mad about coming up to see auntie Ali, “auntie Ali needs me mummy”.

Look she wore her ladybird outfit, just for me.

I love this photo, you can tell we were having fun.

New ribbon - happy little faces

Hello everyone, I am back from my hols.

We had a delivery of NEW ribbons while we were away.

These little pansies come with a story……

I love going to garden centres, very often on a Sunday.
Where they serve afternoon tea!

My favourite place to go, is what I call the “sick bay”……..
…..where all the plants look so sad and are crying out for a home.

Back in the spring I found this massive tray of pansies, they were really sick,
Tony said they were dead, they looked that bad.
But they were only 50p reduced from £10 – I also love bargains!

I got the sad pansies home and planted them out in my tubs,
I gave them plenty of water and lots of TLC.

They have been absolutely wonderful all summer,
their little faces greet me every time I open the back door.
Big smiles on their faces, dancing in the breeze.

I produced this ribbon for me…………..it makes me feel happy and puts a smile on my face.

New Look

Oooooh, Oooooh I can tell you…..

 

We have a NEW website

 

 

It is very white, very clean and fresh…………….we have been working on it for a while.
We pressed the button and went live last night.

 

We have re-designed our logo, so a complete re-branding to bring us up to scratch.
We hope you will enjoy the new website you can find it here

 

This is a 5th generation website.

We launched our very first website on 3 March 2001

It was a page website, like a book.

Thank you letters

It is that time of year again, saying thank you to the teachers.
Sure you can go out and buy all sorts of things with “Thank you Teacher”……
….BUT I may be wrong………surely that is not what it is all about.
The gift should come from the child. But what do I know I am not a mum.

Here is an idea that came from Mollie,
Made by Mollie, for her two teachers.

Mollie and I had a wonderful hour together, we sorted through the buttons. 
Mollie picked the buttons she liked. I did tie the bows for her.
Mollie is only 5, it is amazing what a year at school has done for her.
